Northeast wind 20 to 25 knots rising to gales to 40 knots in the afternoon. Slight chance of rain late in the morning. Rain in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 feet building to 9 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally to 18 feet.
Tonight
East gales to 35 knots with storm force gusts to around 45 knots easing to 20 to 25 knots with gales to around 35 knots late in the evening, then becoming southeast 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Patchy fog through the night. Rain and slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Rain likely after midnight. Waves 10 to 15 feet subsiding to 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally to 19 feet.
Tuesday
South wind 10 to 15 knots becoming west with gusts to around 25 knots in the afternoon. Rain likely. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon. Waves occasionally to 7 feet. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed.
Tuesday Night
Northwest wind 15 to 20 knots. Chance of rain showers in the evening, then slight chance of rain showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.

* Waves... 14 to 18 feet.

* Wind gusts... up to 45 knots.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is recommended that
mariners without the proper experience seek safe Harbor prior to
the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 22 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Less experienced mariners and those operating smaller vessels
should avoid navigating in these conditions.
