Cunene River to Walvis Bay: wind : S to se 05 to 15 in the south but SW 05 to 15 in the north. Vis : moderate to poor in fog patches in the north at times.

Walvis Bay to Orange River: wind : cyclonic 05 to 20, becoming S to se 20 to 30 by the end of the period. Vis : moderate to poor in fog patches, clearing by the end of the period. Sea state: 2.0m, SW swell.

Orange River to cape agulhas: wind : S to SW 05 to 15 north of cape Columbine, otherwise W to NW 10 to 20, reaching 25 south of Table Bay by the end of the period. Vis : good but very poor in fog north of cape Columbine at times. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, reaching 3.0 to 3.5m south of Table Bay from Saturday evening, SW swell.

Cape Agulhas to east london: wind : E to NE 15 to 25, becoming W to NW 10 to 20 west of Cape St. Francis on Saturday morning. It will become W to SW 10 to 20 by the end of the period. Vis : good becoming moderate to poor in fog patches by the end of the period. Sea state: 2.0 to 3.0m, SW swell.

East London to Maputo: wind : S to SW 10 to 20 south of Richards Bay at first, otherwise N to NE 10 to 20, reaching 25. Vis : good but moderate to poor in fog patches south of Richards Bay at first. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, SW swell.

Mozambique channel: wind : S to se 15 to 25, reaching 30. Vis : good. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5m in the extreme south-east, S to SW swell.
