.Cooler weather ahead...

With a cold front moving into northwest Oklahoma, we may see some
scattered storms form along this boundary this evening and
overnight. Better chances are in eastern parts of the state where
there is better moisture. Lowered pops to reflect the lack of quantitative precipitation forecast
that models have been trending toward the last few days (and now
cams reflect as well). A few marginally severe winds gusts may be
possible with these storms initially with the threat quickly
diminishing later tonight.

The cold front will surge south overnight, bringing below normal
temperatures to the area. By Monday night, we'll be seeing lows in
the 50s and 60s and tuesdays highs will be in the 80s. With the
ridge pushed off to The Four Corners region, expect these cooler
temperatures to hang on a while with some gradual warming toward the
end of the week. By next weekend, models hint at another front and
shortwave entering the area, but details are still very fuzzy at
this point.
