.SHORT TERM...(This evening through Thursday night)

Dry and quiet weather will prevail for this period along with a 
gradual warming trend for temperatures. Daytime highs will warm 
above normal for Wednesday as downslope effects help boost 
temperatures. A upper level system will move east across Kansas on 
Thursday but will remain moisture starved with dry weather and above 
normal daytime highs. 

.LONG TERM...(Friday through Monday)

Still expecting warm above normal temperatures on Friday/Saturday 
for central and southern Kansas. 

Long range models continue to highlight potential for a upper level 
wave bringing accumulating winter precipitation to the region on 
Sunday into Monday. We will continue to monitor trends as number of 
GEFS of ensemble members show increasing probabilities of winter 
precipitation impacting Kansas.

Clear skies can be expected throughout the TAF period. Overnight
temperatures will remain cold but will rebound during the day
Tuesday. Winds will be calm overnight but will shift to the
southwest Tuesday but will remain light.
